Current CMU Students
MetaMobility Lab is continually seeking diligent and enthusiastic CMU undergraduate and graduate students to contribute to exciting research projects in tackling the grand challenge of enhancing human mobility through wearables, robotics, and artificial intelligence. For research roles, we require a commitment of at least 10 hours weekly over two semesters, or a full-time position during the summer. If you are interested, please contact Dr. Kang over email.
Prospective PhD Students
MetaMobility Lab will be admitting a new PhD student each year. Given the high volume of PhD admission inquires received, it is not feasible to conduct individual meetings prior to the application review process. We encourage prospective PhD students to apply directly to the PhD programs in Mechanical Engineering or Robotics Institute at CMU. To ensure your application is correctly aligned with our lab, please include Dr. Kang's name in the application form and/or within your statement of purpose.
