B.S./M.S. Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, Villanova University (2024)
Maria Tagliaferri is a PhD student focusing on the applications of lower-limb exoskeleton control for improving gait stability. She received her combined B.S./M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics from Villanova University in 2024. Her hobbies outside of the lab are baking, running, and painting.
Check out my latest work "Systematic Evaluation of Hip Exoskeleton Assistance Parameters for Enhancing Gait Stability During Ground Slip Perturbations"
I had the honor of presenting my first publication, entitled “Ground perturbation detection via lower-limb kinematic states during locomotion”, at the ICORR Women in Engineering Podium Session of Rehab Week 2025!
